An important aspect of running is the effect it has on others in your family. Yes, you may be the only runner in the house, but hopefully as a role model you are instilling a love of some sort of exercise in your children. As a personal trainer in addition to being a running coach, one of the best things to do is to work out with your kids when they are young enough to do so and still enjoy your company. I have developed a series of videos that go over some fun exercises that you can do with your kids that to them seems like fun and games. The introduction video link is attached:
The exercises start out easy and get harder as you get used to them. They also get harder as your child grows older and heavier. Either way you both get a chance to bond. A healthy family is supportive of a healthy runner!
